For my BCA 7th-semester internship I worked at Golden Technosoft, a software company building web and mobile products. I joined the team behind BusineSSathi ERP, a cloud ERP platform for inventory tracking, financial management, and customer relationship handling.

The organisation

Golden Technosoft builds web applications, business automation, and analytics products, working across React, Flutter, Java, PHP/Laravel, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, and WordPress. The internship placed me in the development unit responsible for the ERP product.

What it does — BusineSSathi ERP

Inventory — stock tracking with automated restocking alerts.
Finance — day-to-day financial management in one system.
Customers — relationship handling and records in the same place.
Analytics — real-time dashboards and graphs for business data.
Accessibility — cloud-based, so it works from anywhere.

What I worked on

Built and implemented backend features with Node.js and MongoDB.
Developed and optimised frontend components with React and Ant Design.
Worked on API development and integration between the front end and back end.
Built a feature to upgrade users from the free tier to premium, including the payment flow.
Optimised API responses for faster dashboard graph loading.
Used Docker for containerisation and a consistent local environment.

Notes and limitations

There is no repository — the code belongs to the company, not to me — but the BusineSSathi ERP is live and linked above. Some advanced features were left out due to time constraints, and the report is the version submitted for coursework.
